Shannon and Ben started dancing bachata and salsa 8 years ago in Fort Collins. Shannon also trained as a certified instructor with the original RNA Dance Company and has directed a local ladies bachata styling team. Over the last several years they’ve been learning from a variety of instructors both locally in CO, at different festivals in the US, and in the Dominican Republic. They now teach beginner classes monthly at the Rio to try to introduce this amazing dance addiction to the rotating members of this awesome college town

The Fort Collins Salsa Collective has been dedicated to providing affordable dance classes to the community since its founding in 2018. An original member of the Collective and currently on the leadership team, Wojciech began his dance and teaching journey in Fort Collins in 2006. Since then he has trained in San Juan, Toronto, Poland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, San Diego, and Denver.
Mica has been dancing since 2000, focusing on jazz, West African, and hip hop, and joined the Latin Dance World in 2014. Since then she has trained, danced on companies, and taught in Chicago, New York City, and her current home in Fort Collins.

With almost 20 years of professional experience, Maya offers ballroom instruction and ProAm DanceSport training in Northern Colorado. She is a certified Instructor and teaches over 30 different partner dances; including American and International Ballroom and Latin, as well as Social, Swing, Country and Salsa dancing.
Maya owns and operates Maya’s Ballroom Dance, as well as NoCo Ballroom in North Loveland. She is an American Smooth Rising Star and Open Professional Competitor and has competed with students around the nation as well as in Blackpool, England.

For the past 16 years Renato has been sharing his passion and knowledge for Latin Dances. As a native of Peru, Renato grew up in a small city where dancing was a daily part of life. Four years ago Renato moved to United States and started teaching in New Orleans for almost two years. The pandemic changed his path to Colorado where he’s been teaching and sharing his passion and love of dance
